Brown Shipley hires audit head out of Citi

Brown Shipley has appointed a new head of internal audit, an alumnus of Citi and Deutsche Bank.

Jason Haynes will report to chief executive Alan Mathewson and replaces Drew Stafford, who is leaving to take up a new role.

Mr Haynes will have day-to-day responsibility for Brown Shipley’s internal audit and will lead the relevant team.

He will assist the chief executive and KBL European Private Bankers, Brown Shipley’s parent company, to provide assurance to the board, the audit committee and senior management that major business risks are managed appropriately, and that the business’s control framework and...
