Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has appointed Helen Whelan as chief risk officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Ms Whelan will be responsible for further strengthening risk management practices and controls at Brown Shipley.
She has succeeded Fiona Woodhouse, who left the firm in November 2023 to join C Hoare & Co as chief risk and compliance officer.
