Butterfield Bank clinches Channel Islands acquisition

The Bank of N.T. Butterfield has completed the acquisition of ABN Amro (Channel Islands) Ltd from the Dutch banking group, after regulatory approvals.

The acquired business, renamed Butterfield Bank (Channel Islands) will be fully integrated with Butterfield Bank (Guernsey) , which has operated in the Channel Islands for more than 45 years.
