Cash platform has 'record' quarter as investors seek stability

A £300 million UK cash management platform says it has it has seen “record inflows” since mid-March, as investors seek safe havens.

Octopus Cash said it had received £10.4 million in new deposits in the week beginning 16 March, contributing to a record quarter for the platform, with £91 million in gross inflows (£44 million net) across Q1.

Total assets managed on the platform now stand at £302 million.
