It’s been just over a year since Chris Merry took the helm at Stonehage Fleming – and needless to say it has brought challenges that would have been impossible to foresee.

“The pandemic has forced me to take a different leadership approach in that I like to always be talking to people directly,” Mr Merry told thewealthnet.

“Before lockdown came, I managed to visit our different countries and offices. I’m pleased I did that. But the key has really been around communication – now delivering a lot of that over video.”
