Channel Islands commit to OECD crypto asset reporting standards

The Channel Islands have joined 46 other countries and jurisdictions in committing to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF).

With $1.42 trillion in global cryptocurrency market capitalisation as of 24 November 2023, the OECD aims to establish an international standard for the automatic exchange of tax-relevant information on crypto assets by 2027.
