Investec Wealth & Investment has welcomed the Charity Commission’s revised guidance on investing for charities - known as CC14 - which was published on 1 August 2023.

The government’s publication 'Investing charity money: a guide for trustees' is aimed at any charity regulated by the charity commission of England and Wales which holds investments. It was last updated in 2011.

The guidance outlines fundamental duties of trustees, highlighting the balance between financial investment and social investment.
