Charles Stanley saw its assets under management fall more than a fifth in the first quarter of 2020, to £20.2 billion.

The wealth manager and stockbroker said this reflected the “tumultuous” impact on markets of the Covid-19 virus.

The group's average funds under management and administration (FUMA) for its fiscal year ended 31 March 2020 was stable at £24.2 billion (2019: £24.3 billion)...
