Charlie Munger, the long serving vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, the Omaha, Nebraska-based multinational conglomerate holding company overseen by Warren Buffett, has died at the age of 99.

Mr Munger would have been 100 on 1 January 2024 and had worked with Mr Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway for just short of five decades.
