“All of you will be on the hook” was the warning over the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) to the chief executives who attended the PAM Annual Dinner.
“This marks a massive change from where the regulator has been previously,” said Manmeet Rana, a partner at Aurexia.
However, the legislation should not be too alarming, as a lot of the requirements should “look really familiar.”
