The Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) chief operating officer (COO) John Bissell is set to retire.

After more than six years at the firm, he is retiring from his role as COO and CII board member in early April 2023.

Over this period, Mr Bissell has also been director of CII Hong Kong, CII Middle East, CII Enterprises and trustee of CII’s prize fund.

Mr Bissell joined CII from being a freelance business consultant for six months.
