The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed Nigel Sydenham Chartered FCSI as chair of its training, competence and culture (TC&C) interest group committee.

Mr Sydenham is head of governance, risk and compliance training (UK) at CCL Academy. He specialises in training boards, senior managers and other staff on the impact of regulation and regulatory change.

He has been deputy chair since 2018 and takes over the role of chair from Carl Redfern who held the role for the last two years.
