Citigroup appoints new global wealth management chief following departure of Todd Thomson

Citigroup has appointed Sallie. L. Krawcheck, its chief financial officer and head of strategy to chairman and chief executive of its Global Wealth Management (GWM) division. This follows the decision of Todd Thomson, who was GWM’s chairman and chief executive until 19/01/07 to leave the company to “pursue other interests.”
