A Coutts survey of 300 entrepreneur investor clients shows the group are relatively optimistic about the short-term outlook for investment into the UK.
Fifty-seven percent of those in the September study said investment into the UK would likely increase in the next 12 months. Twenty-four percent thought it would decrease while the remaining 18 percent were ‘neutral’.
Coutts said this confidence was “not unfounded” given statistics showing that in the three-and-a-half years since the Brexit referendum, investment into the UK had remained resilient.
