Credit Suisse appoints global wealth CEO as it pours billions into new unit

Credit Suisse has appointed Francesco De Ferrari as chief executive of its new global wealth management division.

Based in Zurich, he will also join the executive board, effective 1 January 2022, reporting to group chief executive officer Thomas Gottstein.

Mr De Ferrari has also been appointed as ad interim chief executive of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
