Credit Suisse to face $500m fine

Credit Suisse is expecting to face a fine in excess of $500 million.

The Swiss bank announced yesterday evening (23/03/22), that a Bermuda court is expected to shortly publish a judgment against a local life insurance subsidiary of Credit Suisse AG, Credit Suisse Life Bermuda.

Media outlets are reporting that the case relates to former Georgian prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, who has been fighting to reclaim funds stolen by a former Credit Suisse employee.
