Deutsche Bank Wealth Management is set to recruit UBS Wealth Management's UK head of ultra-high net worth, thewealthnet has learnt.
James Whittaker has worked for UBS since 2006, and latterly headed its UK ultra-high net worth clients business. Prior to this he was a private banker with Coutts.
According to sources, Mr Whittaker will take a UK head of sales role at Deutsche Bank and will report to UK wealth management head, Michael Morley.
A Deutsche Bank spokesperson declined to comment.
It is understood Mr Whittaker’s appointment is still subject to final approvals.
