As you all know, at the close of the year I always nominate for awards those companies and individuals that have proved outstanding in their field.

I freely admit these Pooter prizes are very subjective, as their main adjudicator is, er......me.

On the other hand, my plaudits are untainted by any hopes of extra advertising or other incentives which are behind the plethora of “honours” handed out by other media companies in hope of picking up extra moolah.
