The wonderful Coutts rooftop garden complete with bee hives seems to be having an interesting and unexpected impact on the bank’s staff, according to the buzz among our 440 chums.

When certain of its people leave, they nowadays tend to go into the food and vegetable business. How spiffing.

The latest example of a “green” job move is Paul Richardson, a cove who spent six years at Coutts and ultimately became head of London private banking. He also served time at the Barclays Wealth labour camp.
