Digital wealth manager appoints CIO

Robo-advice firm Wealthify has appointed David Semmens as chief investment officer (CIO).

Head of investment strategy since 2018, Mr Semmens has been interim CIO since June 2020.

He takes over from Michelle Pearce-Burke, co-founder and chief operating officer (COO), who had also been the CIO.

As the firm continues to grow, Ms Pearce-Burke will focus solely on her role as COO, working alongside chief executive Andy Russell, while retaining her position on the investment committee.
