Advisory and wealth management firm AHR Private Wealth has announced the launch of its new UK private clients business, as it brings in a former Lloyds private banking boss to run the operation.

AHR is headquartered in Dubai but has licences to operate around the world including in, Ireland, Lichtenstein, Mauritius, and Malaysia.

The new UK venture will be led by Steve Ayers, the ex-head of Lloyds Private Banking in Mayfair (2007 to 2014), as the managing director. Mr Ayers will bring over two decades of experience to the business.
