EFG International has appointed Bernardo Meyrelles do Souto as Portugal country head, effective immediately, as it officially began its Lisbon operations on 1 September 2019.
By appointing Mr Meyrelles, the firm is pursuing its long-term strategy to develop and expand its presence in Portugal to further strengthen its footprint in Southern Europe.
In his new role, Mr Meyrelles will focus on introducing the bank’s CRO model and its investment and wealth management solutions, using EFG’s global investment solutions capabilities.
