EFG appoints Luxembourg chair

Private banking group EFG has appointed Yves Maas as the chair of the board of its subsidiary EFG Bank in Luxembourg.

He has taken over from Bernd-Albrecht von Maltzan, who stepped down from the role after serving as chair since April 2016.

Mr Maas spent 11 years at Credit Suisse, where he held senior positions, including managing director of international private banking operations and chief executive and country head of Credit Suisse Luxembourg.
