EFG joins Baer, UBS and others in delaying shareholder payments

EFG International is the latest in a growing list of lenders to postpone part of its dividend, less than a fortnight after it said it expected to pay out in full.

The Swiss bank said this morning that it would pay its CHF 0.30 per-share dividend in two instalments, the first ).15 per share following the AGM on 29 April and the second in Q4, subject to market conditions.

It follows a similar move from competitors including UBS, Credit Suisse...
