Investment consultancy and advisory practice Enhance Group has recruited former Seven Investment Management (7IM) stalwart Alex Scott to chair its investment committee.

Mr Scott, who was a founding member of 7IM, worked for the firm between 2001 and 2018 before leaving to begin training as a teacher.

He intends to continue his training to become a high school modern languages teacher, as well as supporting two charities with investment decisions, alongside his new role at Enhance, which will be in a consultancy capacity. He has a degree in modern and medieval languages (German & Czech) from Cambridge University.
