Boutique wealth manager, EQ Investors has appointed Sophie Kennedy, a former analyst at Tilney Bestinvest, to its board of directors, a spokesperson told thewealthnet. 

Ms Kennedy who joined EQ in 2015 as senior analyst was promoted to head of research in September 2016. She is responsible for the research agenda across EQ, leading a six-strong team that covers open and closed-ended funds, as well as tax-efficient investments including VCTs and EIS.

A CFA Charterholder, Ms Kennedy also leads EQ’s strategic asset allocation, fund selection and investment management committees.
