Morgan Stanley has launched an app for its wealth management clients entitled Morgan Stanley Impact Quotient (IQ), to help customers assess their ESG options. The app aims to put a client’s preferences at the centre of the analysis. It does this by: providing them with a framework to identify and prioritise over 100 social and environmental impact preferences; harnessing the insights of third-party data sources and Morgan Stanley analytics to assess the alignment of investments with those preferences; and offering financial advisers suggestions for impact solutions for clients.
