Do UK wealth and investment managers, or the people that control them, understand the power of branding?
Given some of the names that have emerged recently to badge new firms or business units such as 1762 (Brewin Dolphin’s London West End business) and Ninety One (Investec’s former asset management business), or rebadge existing enterprises such as abrdn (Aberdeen Asset Management) one has extreme doubts.
