J.M.Keynes, the great Cambridge University polymath managed to successfully juggle a career portfolio that embraced, inter alia, academia, the UK government and the City of London.

An astute and, for most of his career, a very successful investor, Lord Keynes acted as de facto chief investment officer for the Scott family’s Provincial Insurance Company as well as managing the finances and endowment of King’s College, Cambridge during the 1930s.
