Farage had bank account shut for falling below financial threshold - report

According to the BBC, controversial political figure Nigel Farage had his bank account at Coutts shut because he fell below the financial threshold required by the UK private bank.

Mr Farage had taken to Twitter last week to complain that he had been rejected by Coutts on the grounds of “political reasons” and that he had been denied an account at seven other banks.
