FCA issues guidance on property fund suspensions

The FCA has issued guidance following the decision by a number of funds to suspend trading on property portfolios and feeder funds.

The guidance issued reminds fund managers that they have a duty to act in the best interests of all investors and must ensure fair treatment and make sure assets are valued fairly and accurately. Standard Life, Aviva and Aberdeen\'s Martin Gilbert are among those who have put a freeze on property funds.
