FCA relaxes capital raising process in response to Covid-19 'crisis'

The UK’s financial regulator this morning said it would relax rules around share issuances, to help listed companies raise capital during the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The measures from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) include companies being able to temporarily undertake larger raises without a prospectus, produce shorter prospectuses where one was required, as well as changes to the requirements for the working capital statements that need to be produced prior to a raise.
