FCA to apply ‘bolder risk appetite’ to deal with misconduct, says CEO

Acknowledging criticism for acting too slowly, the FCA has said it is going increase its risk appetite in dealing with serious misconduct.

Speaking at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet at Mansion House last night (22 September), chief executive Nikhil Rathi said the regulator will use criminal powers in the most serious cases involving financial crime or money laundering.
