'Force yourself to spend time with the dissenters' - Davy chief executive on leadership

Small-scale, face-to-face interaction remains a crucial part of strong leadership, in an age where tools like social media, Yammer, and employee satisfaction surveys allow managers to abdicate responsibility, says Davy Group’s UK chief executive Stephen Felle.

Speaking at the PAM Leadership Insight Seminar this month, Mr Felle said there is “no substitute for individual facetime” and advised up-and-coming leaders to engage with people at all levels of the business.
