An ex-Goldman Sachs banker has been found guilty in a 1MDB trial.
Roger Ng, who was a managing director at the US bank, stood trial in New York and was found guilty by the jury.
He was arrested in Malaysia in 2018 at the request of US authorities. He was charged with conspiring to bribe officials and launder billions of dollars from the Malaysian state investment fund.
He was sent back to the US to face these charges, but Covid-19 delayed the trial multiple times...
