Multi-family office Brainvest Wealth Management has appointed Jan Gunnar Karsten as Brazil chief executive and partner to take the place of Fernando Gelman – now the global chief executive.

This appointment is part of Brainvest’s aim to strengthen and accelerate its national and international growth.

Before joining Brainvest, Mr Karsten was chief executive of the Julius Baer family office since 2016. He was also a managing director for Citibank.
