Median FTSE 100 chief executive pay increased from £2.45 million in 2020 to £3.41 million in 2021, according to research from the High Pay Centre and TUC.
Median chief executive pay is now 109 times that of the median UK-full time worker, compared to 79 times in 2020 and 107 times in 2019.
This is also up on pre-pandemic levels with an increase of 5.0 percent from £3.25 million in 2019.
