The average pay of FTSE 100 chief executives grew by over £500,000 - or 16 percent - in 2022.
New research from the High Pay Centre has found that median FTSE 100 chief executive pay increased from £3.38 million in 2021 to £3.91 million.
The UK think tank's report showed that the FTSE 100's median chief executive pay is now 118 times that of the median UK full-time worker, compared to 108 times in 2021 and 79 times in 2020.
