Goldman Sachs International (GSI) has been fined more than £34,00,000 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for reporting issues relating to over 200 million transactions in a 10 year period.
The firm was fined a total of £34,344,700 for failing to provide accurate and timely reporting for 220.2 million transaction reports between November 2007 and March 2017.
GSI failed to ensure it provided complete, accurate and timely information in relation to approximately 213.6 million reportable transactions and erroneously reported 6.6 million transactions to the FCA, which were not, in fact, reportable.
