The committee behind the charitable Gulls’ Egg Luncheon has taken the difficult decision to cancel the event, though it is exploring options for a substitute function later in the year.
The luncheon, due to take place on 12 May, is a flagship networking event for wealth management professionals in London and last year raised more than £95,000 for its beneficiary the Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT).
Chairman Rupert Phelps said it was with “deep regret” that the 32nd Gulls’ Egg Luncheon would be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
