Hampden & Co., the new Edinburgh and London private bank launched by Ray Entwistle, a former chairman and chief executive of Adam & Co., has expanded its Edinburgh presence by opening a new office in South Charlotte Street, a stone’s throw from its existing premises in Charlotte Square.

The new office will house Hampden’s operational and administration teams leaving the Charlotte Square premises for client meetings with their bankers.

In addition Hampden has strengthened its senior management team by recruiting Andrew Jackson to the newly created position of head of banking management.
