Hawksmoor Investment Management has made two senior hires within its fund management arm, as one of its stalwart managers takes a step back.

Brooks Macdonald investment director Ben Mackie will join Hawksmoor as a fund manager on 2 January, as Richard Scott, who has been with Hawksmoor since 2008, moves into an advisory role.

Mr Mackie has 12 years of portfolio management experience within wealth management, including his three years at Brooks, and time at Charles Stanley and Barclays.
