HSBC Private Bank maintains revenue as focus shifts to Asia

HSBC’s Global Private Banking revenue was up $37 million or two percent year-on-year in 2021, as the bank’s attention shift to Asia.

The $1.83 billion revenue still represented a fall from 2019, when it was $1.92 billion. 

In Asia, wealth and personal banking revenue – which comprises wealth, insurance, private banking, and asset management – grew by 10 percent to $5.8 billion.
