Investec Private Bank has appointed Brendan Stewart as managing director for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

He replaces Stephen Henry, who is retiring after 10 years in the post.

Mr Stewart has worked at the firm for 14 years, holding a range of senior roles. Most recently he was regional had for Durban, South Africa. In this role he was also a member of the bank's national management committee for South Africa.
