Hawksmoor Investment Management has hired Neal Smith, a former Parmenion salesman, to head its distribution effort in the South West and Wales.

Mr Smith previously held a similar role at Parmenion, where he worked for over ten years, having been a shareholder before the firm was taken over by Aberdeen. Before this, he set up the B2B sales team at Whitechurch Securities.

Sarah Soar, chief executive, said one of Hawksmoor’s strategic objectives was to expand its reach in delivering a top-quality service to the intermediary market.
