David Smart has joined consulting firm Portfolio Manager Consultancy Limited (PMCL) as a director.

He will focus on growing the business in servicing large institutional clients with a particular emphasis on sustainable investing.

Mr Smart, a graduate of St John's College, Cambridge, is an investment professional with experience as a fixed income and balanced portfolio manager, an asset allocation adviser to the United Nations Pension Fund for 28 years and a relationship manager with a particular focus on Sovereign Funds.
