JP Morgan establishes new Luxembourg private banking entity

JP Morgan AG, the Frankfurt-based business of the American banking group, has requested authorisation from the Luxembourg regulator to open a Luxembourg branch.

This move is to allow the bank   to provide inter alia private banking services in the jurisdiction, thewealthnet has learned. Documents indicate this move was planned in September 2020.

David Ashworth and Michael Fox have been appointed as authorised signatories for the branch, while Stefan Behr will chair the branch’s management board. Other appointees to the management board include: Burkhard Kübel-Sorger, Nicholas Conron, Gunnar Reg...
