Julius Baer hires from Barclays, UBS as it counters doom-mongering over UK growth ambitions

Julius Baer International has just hired three relationship managers to further grow its UK regional footprint.

The recruitment, which demonstrates what Baer says is its “long-term commitment” to the UK private client market, come at a time when industry talk is that the Zurich-based bank may be wielding an axe on costs in Britain.

Tracey Reddings, a senior private banker executive, recently left Baer UK in what gossip suggests was a move to cut overhead.
