Julius Baer has made multiple hires in its office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, including that of Olavo Pereira as the head the office.  

Before joining Julius Baer, Mr Pereira led Credit Suisse’s office in Rio de Janeiro for the past 12 years.

Prior to that, he worked at Itaú Private Bank, Wachovia Securities and Merril Lynch.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the expansion of Julius Baer’s operations in Rio de Janeiro.
