Julius Baer to pay over €100 mn to settle legacy issue

Bank Julius Baer & Co will pay €105 million to settle a legacy matter.

The Swiss private bank has resolved a claim by the liquidator of a Lithuanian corporation filed with the first instance court in Geneva in 2019.

The claim was for a total amount of €335 million, plus five percent interest per annum since December 2011.
